Easy Link

Easy Link is the ideal solution for FTTH installation in existing buildings.

Thanks to the special cover with a breakable slot, Easy Link can be either wall mounted or installated onto an existing socket, even fully occupied by other services.

The fiber cable on the system side can enter, even pre-connected, both flush with the wall and from the inside of the wall box.

Easy Link is universal and compatible with any type of electrical building infrastructure system (power, TV, RJ45, etc …).

Unique features of Easy Link

  • Small footprint, only 13 mm of wall overhang.

  • Easy Lock user connection with safety lock (patent and IEC international standardization process pending)

  • Simplified installation, with a single cable/fiber excess management

  • Secure wall attachment thanks to the fixing screws of the existing socket frame

  • Possibility of installation with cables pre-connected or connectorized on the field, with or without fiber joint

  • Possibility of the optical cable entry on each of the four sides of Easy Link.

  • Possibility of adapter positioning on the right or left bottom side

  • Space for RFID tag insertion

  • Safety dust cap supplied with anti-loss strap

Easy Link assembly on existing sockets, either flush or wall mounted

1Remove the cover plate and pull out the frame with the sockets from the box.

2Insert the cap’s anti-loss strap in one of the two seats, considering the final position of the Easy Link box

3Without disconnecting the existing sockets, insert the Easy Link box through the frame and pre-attach it to the box using the two plastic ties provided which also allow horizontal alignment.

4Fasten the cable just inserted with the ties. Then wrap the excess of the cable/fiber inside the box.

N.B. If there’s a joint, insert the termination in the dedicated slots.

5Insert the system side cable connector into the no safety inner side of the Easy Lock adapter (SC/APC with safety lock is on the user side).

6Insert the connector-adapter assembly in one of the two spaces predisposed according to the need (output connector on the bottom left or bottom right), after detaching its own breakable slot.

7

Remove the breakable central part using a pair of scissors or a cutter and close the Easy Link box, as shown below, by slightly folding the lid. This protects the optical fiber and the connection on the system side.
